The authors of the Ethereum staking reward burn policy have announced a change of plans, pulling the proposal from the Hegelota protocol.

The decision comes after objections from validators and the Ethereum community over the economics of the policy and the process of its consideration.

Lido, a popular Ethereum staking provider, has offered to help the authors with a separate issuance-policy process.

The authors stated that they plan to revisit the policy and consider alternative solutions that better address the concerns of the Ethereum community.
