Ethereum Validators Hold On Despite 70% Rally

The Ethereum ecosystem has been experiencing a remarkable rally, with its largest altcoin trading near $2500 after a hike of over 30% in the past 30 days.

However, this price increase may not be as solid as it seems. According to Ethereum's Validator Queue, the 'exit queue' has hit 0, indicating that validators are expecting ETH to appreciate further and are choosing to continue staking rather than exiting.

This is significant because around 902,506 active validators are involved in staking, with about 42.4 million ETH being staked, accounting for 34.8% of the total supply. Moreover, this trend continues even after Ethereum witnessed a 70% pump.

The reasons behind this behavior may be twofold. Firstly, if these validators are expecting ETH to appreciate further, exiting staking simply to sell after a 70% rally may not make sense to them. Secondly, they can continue earning rewards for participating in Ethereum's network through staking yield, thereby maintaining exposure to the asset.
