eToro Returns to Hungary Amid Rising Interest in Cryptocurrency Investing
The Bitcoin price has been steadily increasing since early August, reaching around $80,000 by the end of September. This growth has sparked interest in cryptocurrency investing among Hungarian investors, with some platforms seeing a surge in new users.
The platform eToro has recently returned to the Hungarian market, citing changes in regulatory requirements as the reason for its return. The MiCA framework, implemented in July 2026, has made it easier for platforms like eToro to operate in Hungary.
eToro offers a wide range of assets and tools for investors to trade with, including over 200 cryptocurrencies, stocks, and commodities. The platform is regulated by the CySEC in Cyprus and has over 40 million users worldwide.
