Share

An FBI agent is accused of stealing nearly $1 million in cryptocurrency from an online marketplace. The agent, who was not named, allegedly used their position to gain access to the platform and then transferred the funds into a personal account.

The theft occurred on July 13, when the agent reportedly accessed the victim's account using their login credentials. From there, they transferred $950,000 worth of cryptocurrency into their own wallet.

An investigation is underway to determine the extent of the agent's involvement and whether any other individuals were involved in the theft.
