Grayscale's Head of Research Zach Pandl remains convinced that Bitcoin's June 30 low of $58,000 is the bottom for this bear market phase. This view aligns with Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong's prediction of a two-year upward trend leading to the next halving.

Pandl stated that Grayscale uses a three-part framework when assessing whether clients should allocate to Bitcoin: the long-term structural trend, the stage of the market cycle, and the macroeconomic backdrop. He believes all these conditions have been met, pointing to continued digital-asset adoption and digital scarcity as well as the market having already passed through a bear phase.

Grayscale is now advising its clients to allocate to Bitcoin, giving them the 'green light' to do so. In contrast, Pandl sees Zcash occupying an underutilized design space rather than competing directly with Bitcoin.
