Grayscale has expressed optimism that the US crypto policy is maturing despite the recent setback of the CLARITY Act. The Senate failed to advance the bill to formal debate, but Grayscale pointed out that regulatory work at the SEC and CFTC continues.

The vote on the CLARITY Act was a procedural one, requiring 60 votes to move forward with consideration of the legislation. However, it fell short with only a certain number of votes in favor.

Grayscale emphasized that despite this setback, regulatory progress is being made outside of Congress. The SEC and CFTC are developing rules and policies within their respective authorities, which could provide a broader framework for digital asset markets.
