House Advances Bipartisan Crypto Tax Bill Amidst Election Recess
The House Ways and Means Committee has advanced bipartisan legislation on cryptocurrency taxation.
The measure, known as H.R. 10357, was passed with 38 members in favor and five Democrats against.
This sends the legislation to the full House, which is currently recessed until after the November midterm elections.
The committee also voted unanimously to advance several tax and healthcare bills, but was split on passing Medicaid expenditure legislation.
