A bipartisan cryptocurrency taxation bill advanced in the House Ways and Means Committee on Wednesday.
The legislation, H.R. 10357, was approved with 38 members in favor and five Democrats against.
This sends the measure to the full House, which is currently on recess until after the November midterm elections.
