Hyperliquid Whale Adds to Massive XRP Long Despite Recent Price Crash
A Hyperliquid whale investor has added to their $1.36M XRP long position despite the asset's recent price crash.
XRP plummeted 9.81% on September 15, its largest intraday drop in seven months, after the U.S. Senate failed to advance the Clarity Act.
The whale, boasting a 99.3%-win rate, initially opened an XRP long position at $1.38 and later closed it with a meager $6,000 profit before reopening another long position worth $557K at $1.2946 during the price crash.
At press time, the whale is nursing a 26.46% loss on the current XRP price of around $1.27, but would only face liquidation if XRP collapses to $0.34, a 73% drop from the current price.
