Infinex Integrates NEAR for Simplified Cross-Chain Asset Management
Infinex has expanded its platform by integrating NEAR Chain Signatures and NEAR Intents, allowing users to manage assets like Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), and XRP directly through the service. This integration eliminates the need for separate bridges or wallets for different blockchains, simplifying cross-chain transactions significantly.
The move leverages NEAR’s chain-abstraction infrastructure, which enables applications to interact with multiple blockchains via a single interface. NEAR Chain Signatures use a decentralized network of validators to authorize transactions on external blockchains securely. Users can now handle non-native assets without dealing with the complexities of cross-chain actions.
NEAR Intents supports over 100 digital assets across 31 different blockchains, with cross-chain settlements typically completing in about 30 seconds. The protocol employs automated solvers to execute user requests, routing transactions across networks without requiring users to select individual bridges.
NEAR, originally a smart contract platform, is now positioning itself as a universal execution layer and cross-chain infrastructure provider. The Intents network claims over $30 billion in total trading volume, spanning activity across 35 blockchains. This shift aligns with industry trends toward seamless cross-chain operability, reducing reliance on traditional bridge workflows.
