Injective Surges Ahead in Asset Tokenization With Pineapple Financial Milestone
Pineapple Financial is making significant strides in tokenizing its assets on the Injective network. The company has successfully tokenized more than $1 billion in residential mortgage records, solidifying Injective's position as a leading layer-1 blockchain for asset tokenization.
The migration of Pineapple's historical loan book to verifiable on-chain records is underway, with the goal of transferring its entire portfolio of over 29,000 mortgages valued at more than $10 billion. Each tokenized record contains over 500 data points and represents the underlying loan without repackaging it as a new financial instrument.
This approach provides an auditable counterpart with an update history, provenance, and granular data at the loan level, allowing servicers, custodians, and counterparties to consult a unified source of information instead of manually reconciling scattered files. The company's dashboard reports 2,079 on-chain records compared to the 1,259 recorded at launch in December 2025.
