Injective's INJ Token Goes Live on Solana as Native SPL Token
Injective Protocol has expanded its reach by listing its native INJ token on Solana as an SPL token, making it easier for users to trade and interact with INJ directly on the network.
The listing occurred around September 10-11, 2026, and active trading and liquidity pools appeared by September 17. Initially, accessing INJ on Solana required routing through bridges to Injective's Cosmos-based Layer 1 blockchain, but now users can interact with it natively without bridging.
The SPL token has an initial on-chain supply of between 131,000 and 140,000 tokens as of mid-September 2026. This is a relatively modest float, consistent with a controlled rollout rather than a full market debut. INJ's broader circulating supply sits near 100 million tokens, with the market price fluctuating between $5 and $6 at the time of the listing.
The listing is connected to Backpack Securities' trading platform, Sunrise, which has been positioning itself at the intersection of regulated and decentralized finance. This aligns with Injective's own trajectory, as it expands into real-world asset tokenization, including initiatives involving mortgage records and trade receivables worth over $1 billion.
