Lowest Fee Bitcoin ATMs Rolls Out 400+ Machines Across US
A new player has entered the US Bitcoin ATM market with a massive rollout of over 400 machines across the country. Lowest Fee Bitcoin ATMs, the company behind the launch, aims to provide a low-fee alternative to existing operators, charging a flat 5% fee to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and USDC with cash. This is significantly lower than the typical 12-15% fee charged by most Bitcoin ATMs in the US.
The company's initial network of over 400 machines is spread across convenience stores, gas stations, and shopping centers in states such as Florida, California, Arizona, and Texas. The machines are non-custodial, meaning the company never holds customer funds, and transactions are irreversible.
Lowest Fee Bitcoin ATMs also introduced online pre-registration for new customers, allowing them to skip the onboarding process at the machine and get started with their first transaction in under two minutes. The company is a FinCEN-registered money services business and operates in compliance with federal and state regulations.
