Masked Thugs Demand Crypto from Pregnant Woman's Home

Share

A horrific cryptocurrency robbery in Solihull, UK has left a couple shaken after they were attacked by masked intruders who demanded hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of digital assets.

The attackers, who wore gloves and balaclavas, broke into the home of James and his heavily pregnant wife, threatening to kill their unborn child unless he handed over the cryptocurrency.

James said three masked men forced their way in, subjecting him to a 45-minute assault. He attempted to fight back but was repeatedly struck in the face, head, and ribs with hammers.

The attackers eventually transferred the cryptocurrency worth hundreds of thousands of pounds to a wallet controlled by an individual directing the attack remotely. The criminals also stole several luxury Rolex watches before fleeing in a car driven by a getaway driver.
