MEXC Boosts Guardian Fund with Additional Bitcoin Allocation
MEXC has strengthened its Guardian Fund by adding another 1,000 BTC, bringing its combined holdings to 2,000 BTC and 100 million USDT. The exchange's goal is to reach a $500 million expansion target over the next two years.
The addition of the new funds was announced in a release on GlobeNewswire, where MEXC chief executive Vugar Usi emphasized that 'security and user protection is not a one-time investment, it is a continuous commitment.'
MEXC maintains transparency by publicly disclosing wallet addresses for the fund, allowing users to independently verify its holdings. This approach has become more common in the industry as exchanges seek to rebuild trust after high-profile hacks.
