Monochrome Exchange Announces IEO for Native Token MCR
Monochrome Exchange, a multi-asset trading platform, has announced the Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) of its native utility token, MCR. The exchange allows users to trade crypto, equities, bonds, and real-world assets from a single venue where trades settle on-chain.
The IEO will take place from September 21st at 13:00 UTC+8 to September 28th at 13:00 UTC+8. During this time, participants can deposit USDT and commit funds on the offering page. The token price is set at $0.88 per MCR, with a public sale supply of 10,500,000 MCR, which represents 5% of the total supply.
According to Jeff Yew, founder of Monochrome Exchange, 'Tokenisation has produced a large number of assets that barely trade... The harder problem has always been the market underneath them: liquidity, settlement, and compliance that holds up.' The exchange currently supports trading across four asset classes from a single account balance.
The MCR token will serve multiple functions within the Monochrome ecosystem, including fee discounts, exclusive access to Launchpad offerings and Digital IPOs, staking, and governance. The platform is developing a Digital IPO framework designed to streamline the public listing process by moving issuance, subscription, allocation, and settlement on-chain.
