Share

Morgan Stanley has established a Digital Asset Lab to test stablecoins, asset tokenization, and decentralized finance (DeFi) technology.

The lab will test various digital currencies and assets, including tokenized deposits, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), and tokenized money-market funds.

Morgan Stanley is focusing on DeFi vault technology, which automatically deploys digital assets across multiple markets based on preset strategies.

Amy Oldenburg, Morgan Stanley's head of digital assets, said the Digital Asset Lab will allow the bank to test new technologies in a safe environment that complies with regulations.
