NEAR Protocol Intents Surge Past $1B Weekly Volume Amid $5 Resistance Hopes
The NEAR Protocol has seen significant trading activity in recent days, with its Intents processing over $1.117 billion in solver-routed swaps within a week.
This surge in volume comes as analysts eye the $5 resistance level for the token, while also keeping an eye on potential support between $2.60 and $2.80.
The NEAR Protocol's unique approach to trading involves users specifying their desired outcome, rather than sending assets through a conventional bridge. This process avoids minting wrapped versions of each transfer and allows funds not to sit in a single traditional bridge contract during settlement.
As a result, the protocol has seen cumulative volume reach $29.759 billion, with 30-day volume at $4.188 billion and weekly activity totaling $1.117 billion.
