NFT Sales Plummet by 44.7% to $63.3 Million

NFT sales declined by 44.7% to $63.3 million over the past seven days, despite an increase in buyer and seller addresses across the market.

The number of transactions fell by 14.13% to 802,330, while the number of buyer addresses rose by 30.48% to 227,316 and the number of seller addresses increased by 54.64% to 247,373.

Ethereum led NFT sales with $35.56 million in organic sales, despite a 49.01% weekly decline, while Bitcoin ranked second with $8.68 million in sales, down 59.53% from the previous week.

The top-selling collection was Courtyard on Polygon, which generated $6.09 million in sales, although its total fell by 37.55%. The largest individual sale of the week was a Bitcoin NFT that sold for $2.14 million.
