Reap and Collinson Partner to Bring Airport Lounges to Crypto Cardholders
Reap, a global fintech company specializing in stablecoin-enabled infrastructure, has teamed up with Collinson International to bring Priority Pass airport experiences to the crypto and stablecoin ecosystem. This partnership allows Reap's clients, including crypto exchanges, Web3 neobanks, private banks, and asset managers, to offer premium travel benefits to their customers. Eligible Reap cardholders will gain access to Priority Pass's extensive network of over 1,900 airport lounges and travel experiences worldwide.
The collaboration highlights the growing importance of travel benefits in enhancing customer value and engagement. According to Collinson International's research, airport lounge access is the most desirable travel benefit, with 92% of respondents in Asia Pacific agreeing that travel rewards encourage card usage for both everyday and travel expenses. This partnership aims to drive card use, customer engagement, and loyalty through these premium offerings.
Rom Remy, SVP Commercial at Collinson International, emphasized the significance of experiential value in the evolving payments landscape. He noted that travel experiences help deepen customer engagement and build loyalty. The partnership enables Reap to extend its card issuing capabilities into lifestyle and travel benefits, connecting onchain spending to real-world experiences.
Pablo Che Leon, Head of Customer Growth at Reap, stated that stablecoins are becoming everyday money for millions of people. By integrating Priority Pass into Reap-issued cards, the company aims to provide the same benefits as traditional premium cards. This move is expected to differentiate card offerings and strengthen customer retention in the stablecoin-linked card market.
