Ripple's XRP Ledger Prepares for Major Upgrade with Batch V1.1 Feature
Ripple has announced that several asset managers and commercial projects are preparing to use an upcoming feature on the XRP Ledger called Batch V1.1.
This feature allows up to eight linked transactions to settle together, with an all-or-nothing mode that ensures every transaction succeeds or the entire group is canceled.
Ayo Akinyele, head of engineering at RippleX, said in comments shared with CoinDesk: 'Batch allows multiple transactions to be grouped together so they either all execute or none do.'
This feature has support from 30 of the XRP Ledger's 35 tracked validators, and is expected to activate on September 29th.
