Robinhood has launched a prediction market for the price of Ethereum (ETH) on October 4, 2026, at 3 PM EDT. The platform is offering contracts that allow users to bet on whether ETH will reach specific price thresholds. The most popular prediction is that ETH will be at $2,695 or above, with a 99-cent payout per contract. Other notable predictions include $2,700 or above at 92 cents, and $2,705 or above at 1 cent.

The contract's outcome will be determined using CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI). In the final minute before expiration, 60 RTI prices will be collected, and the official value will be the average of these prices. Payouts will occur within an hour of event resolution, and users can close their positions before the event if they choose.
