The financial markets are abuzz with the latest prediction from Robinhood's Crypto Prediction Market, which foresees a significant milestone for Bitcoin's price by October 1, 2026. According to the contract, the price of Bitcoin will either reach or exceed $73,600 at 6pm EDT on that day. The contract also outlines two other possible price targets: $83,200 and $83,600.

Robinhood's Crypto Prediction Market allows users to place bets on various price targets for Bitcoin, with the possibility of earning $1 for every contract owned if the prediction is correct. The market uses CF Benchmarks' corresponding Real Time Index (RTI) to determine the official and final value of Bitcoin's price, which is the average of 60 RTI prices collected at the last minute before expiration.

The contract also comes with certain restrictions and eligibility requirements, including a prohibition on trading for persons employed by certain source agencies or holding material, non-public information on the underlying asset.
