SHIB Whales Inject 10 Billion in 24 Hours, Sparking Market Speculation
Shiba Inu (SHIB) whales have been active in the past 24 hours, injecting a significant amount of tokens into exchanges. On-chain data shows that the ten largest inflow transactions into exchanges totaled 10.44 billion $SHIB, a 1.51% increase in the last 24 hours.
This influx of tokens has raised questions about the current sentiment among whales, with some interpreting it as a warning of potential selling. However, it can also be seen as a sign of repositioning ahead of accumulation or liquidity provision, especially since price is holding support.
The broader exchange picture is active but balanced, with total exchange inflows reaching 460.69 billion $SHIB, up 1.37%, while outflows stood at 419.33 billion, up 1.19%. This leaves a net inflow of 41.36 billion $SHIB, although the netflow reading fell 2.83% on the day, suggesting the gap is narrowing.
The average inflow per transaction rose 1.65% to 1.94 billion $SHIB, compared with 713.26 million for average outflows, which shows that deposits are coming in larger chunks than withdrawals. This pattern is typical of whale activity, as big holders tend to move size in single transfers.
