Sterling Digital, a company based in West Texas, has successfully produced its first verified Bitcoin output during commissioning at its mining site. This milestone marks an important step for the company as it moves towards commercial operation.

The company's energy-to-compute chain, which converts contracted gas into on-site electricity for digital-asset production, achieved a controlled live-load run and generated the site's first verified Bitcoin output. Sterling Digital emphasized that this event represents the first end-to-end operation of its integrated infrastructure but cautioned that it does not necessarily indicate steady-state commercial performance.

The company explained that several systems worked together during commissioning, including hashrate, machine availability, gas supply, power-generation efficiency, and cooling performance. However, these variables can change as the site transitions from initial testing to continuous operations.
