Tesla's Bitcoin holdings are nearing the $1 billion mark after a strong weekly rally that saw the cryptocurrency surge by about 14%.

According to blockchain intelligence data, Tesla currently holds 11,509 BTC, worth around $997.8 million at current prices of approximately $84,065 per coin.

The company's Bitcoin position has gained roughly $122.6 million in value over the past week as the cryptocurrency climbed above $87,000 on Monday.
