THORChain Resists Blocking Hacker Addresses Amid Ongoing Exchange Dispute

THORChain is pushing back against Bitget's demand to block hacker addresses, which were flagged by the exchange. According to reports, one of the addresses completed an XRP-to-bitcoin swap after the request was made. THORChain has been at odds with OKX's Star Xu, who challenged the comparison between THORChain and Bitcoin.

THORChain emphasized that blocking hacker addresses would compromise user security, as some users may unknowingly send funds to these addresses. The protocol also stated that it does not have control over user transactions and cannot block or freeze them.

The exchange and Star Xu have yet to comment on the situation further.
