Tokenized Stocks Coming to 44 Million Crypto Users via NYSE Partnership

Share

Blockchain.com and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) have entered into a memorandum of understanding to bring tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs to the platform's over 44 million users.

The partnership aims to give Blockchain.com customers access to these financial instruments through the NYSE's digital trading venue, pending regulatory approvals.

'People shouldn't be limited in owning stocks based on where they happen to live or the brokerage and information they may or may not have access to,' said Peter Smith, Blockchain.com's executive chairman, CEO, and co-founder.

Under the agreement, ICE Data Services will make Blockchain.com's crypto data and analytics available to its subscribers, while Blockchain.com will display real-time stock information from some of ICE's and NYSE's exchange feeds on its app.
