Trueo Expands Operations to Ethereum for Broader Integrations
Trueo, a prediction market platform, is expanding its operations from Base to Ethereum. The company launched on Base in March 2025 and has now decided to move to Ethereum for broader integrations and more advanced oracle infrastructure. According to Trueo, the main reason for this decision is that Ethereum offers higher integration potential and more upside for their roadmap.
The platform's co-founder, Lumberg, emphasized that Ethereum provides the best environment for an oracle designed to be credibly neutral and truthful for prediction markets. Trueo's focus after the migration will be on pulling in more liquidity while developing the next generation of its oracle system, which is crucial for determining outcomes for markets settled on real-world data.
The team highlighted that when they launched on Base, Ethereum mainnet gas costs were still relatively high, and some product features were still experimental. However, with these factors now less of an issue, Trueo can leverage Ethereum's permissionless nature and stronger immutability characteristics to achieve its goal of becoming a widely adopted prediction market platform.
