Trump Exploits Loyal Supporters with Cryptocurrency Schemes

Share

Former deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes argued on MS NOW's 'Deadline: White House' that President Donald Trump has found a way to exploit his supporters' loyalty for financial gain.

Rhodes claimed that Trump is counting on the same traits that draw people to him, such as blind loyalty, making them easy targets for scams like cryptocurrency offerings.

He pointed out that some of Trump's voters may not have access to the same information as others and may be more susceptible to these types of schemes. Others, however, are aware but choose to ignore it or don't care.

Rhodes stated, 'Some of it is that they don't follow the same information we do, but some of it is that he knows that they're the ones who will be the suckers, right?'

He added that Trump's approach to taking advantage of his supporters is a 'dark truth' in American politics.
