Trump's Memecoin Dinner Sparks Ethics Concerns Amid $4.7B Investor Losses
US President Donald Trump will host his third 'exclusive' event for top holders of his memecoin, Official Trump (TRUMP), on November 22 at his Trump National Golf Club in Washington, DC.
The dinner, announced by the GetTrumpMemes website, is invite-only and based on a scoring system that ranks the top 185 TRUMP holders from September 30 to November 12.
This event marks the third time Trump has gathered his memecoin fans for similar events, with previous gatherings taking place in May 2025 at the same golf club and an April 2026 luncheon at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
The announcement of the dinner comes as investors in Trump's crypto ventures continue to suffer significant losses, with a report from Public Citizen estimating that they are '4.7 billion underwater' since 2022, including $3.2 billion in losses attributed to the memecoin.
