Trump's TRUMP Coin Gala Triggers Warning Signs
President Donald Trump is set to host another gala for top TRUMP (CRYPTO: TRUMP) coin holders. The event, scheduled for November 12 at Trump National Washington, D.C., will feature Trump as a speaker alongside three unnamed 'legends.' Only the top 185 registered holders and VIPs have been invited, with the final snapshot taken on November 12.
The gala follows a similar pattern to previous events. In April 2025, the first TRUMP dinner sent the token price from $9 to $14.40, only for it to drop to $13 within 24 hours. The second event in 2026 saw trading volume fall by 89%, with median VIP qualifying holdings decreasing by 84%.
The project has also disclosed plans to deploy up to 9.6% of its total token supply over the next few months, raising questions about potential selling pressure on the market. Additionally, qualifying holders who drop below their snapshot holdings before November 22 will lose bonus rewards, adding an incentive to hold through the event.
At present, TRUMP's price is sitting at around $2.02-$2.07, within a tightening symmetrical triangle. The 20-day EMA stands at $2.07, and deeper support lies at $1.90 if the price breaks down further.
