Unhedged, a platform specializing in prediction markets for esports, cryptocurrency, and sports, has launched new tools that enable users to interact with AI assistants for market research, position reviews, and trading. The update includes an enhanced Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and a new TypeScript software development kit (SDK). These tools allow users to connect AI assistants like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor to their Unhedged accounts, facilitating seamless access to market data and trading functions.
With the Unhedged MCP server and TypeScript SDK, users can ask AI assistants to find active markets, explain resolution criteria, and review their positions. Trading permissions, when enabled, also allow assistants to place and manage orders. The platform ensures privacy by keeping individual positions and trade sizes confidential from other users.
For developers, the TypeScript SDK offers a typed client for building research tools, portfolio dashboards, and trading integrations. It supports market discovery, account balances, positions, trading history, quotes, and order management. Optional WebSocket clients provide public order-book snapshots and authenticated account events, allowing developers to query public market data without an API key.
The release pairs MCP server version 0.3.1 with TypeScript SDK version 0.1.0, both available through npm for Node.js 20 or later. Users can explore markets on Unhedged or connect an assistant through the MCP setup guide, while developers can get started with the TypeScript SDK installation instructions.
