USDT on TRON Surpasses BTC and ETH in CoinsBee Payments
USDT on TRON has become the most-used onchain payment option on CoinsBee, according to the company's latest data. Over the past 90 days, USDT on TRON recorded nearly twice as many payments as Bitcoin and Ethereum combined.
In terms of share of total payments, USDT on TRON accounted for 16.23% in 2026, compared with 9.92% in 2025, representing a 64% increase.
The data shows that users are using USDT on TRON to make everyday purchases across various categories, including retail, mobile services, gaming, and food delivery.
CoinBee is now launching a joint campaign with TRON DAO to promote the use of USDT on TRON for everyday purchases. From September 21 through October 5, eligible users will receive a 2% discount on purchases paid with USDT on TRON when they enter the code USDT-TRC in the CoinsBee app.
'USDT on TRON is already the most used onchain payment option on CoinsBee,' said Iván Escamilla Rodriguez, Product and Growth Lead at CoinsBee. 'What is particularly interesting for us is that this activity translates into purchases across categories such as retail, mobile services, gaming and food delivery.'
