XRP Ledger Batch V1.1 Activates After Extensive Security Rebuild
The XRP Ledger's Batch V1.1 amendment is one validator vote short of reaching the 80% threshold needed to begin its 14-day activation countdown.
This follows a security rebuild that addressed a critical flaw in the original version, which was discovered before it even reached mainnet deployment.
The revised code has undergone extensive review and testing, including senior engineering review, adversarial testing, two external security reviews, and AI-assisted analysis.
RippleX developer Mayukha Vadari said that additional bugs were fixed through newer AI red-teaming work, including fixes for MPT validation bypasses, node crashes, path size validation, signature verification, signer ordering, and transaction hashing.
