XRP Price Surges Near $1.54 After Absa's Custody Service Launch

XRP's price has jumped to near $1.54 after an 8.7% surge in 24 hours, following the launch of Absa's Ripple-powered custody service in South Africa on September 21.

Veteran trader Peter Brandt shared a long-term chart pointing to a potential advance to $5.40, but emphasized that this is not a near-term prediction and would require XRP to rise about 251% from its current price.

Analyst Ali Martinez suggests that whale accumulation could push XRP's price to $1.60 in the short term, citing on-chain data showing relatively little resistance ahead until this level.
