XRP Slumps on Regulatory Uncertainty Ahead of Ripple's Upgrade Plans
XRP has lost 4.33% of its value to $1.38 on Sunday, trailing behind the broader market's slight downturn.
The decline is largely attributed to lingering regulatory uncertainty following the U.S. Senate's failure to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act on September 15.
As a result, the lack of legislative clarity remains a headwind for XRP, making it particularly sensitive to any new regulatory news.
Ripple's plans to activate XRPL Batch V1.1 have been announced, which can package up to eight transactions into a single operation.
The activation is contingent on continued support from validators, with 30 out of 35 currently backing the upgrade (about 85%).
