XRP Targets $1.62 as Analyst Spots Key Breakout Pattern
Cryptocurrency analyst Ali Martinez has highlighted that XRP is edging closer to a significant price move. According to Martinez, the token is forming a descending triangle pattern on the four-hour chart, which could signal a breakout. He predicts that if XRP breaks above the hypotenuse of this triangle, it could rally to $1.62. This outlook hinges on the token consistently closing above the $1.53 resistance level.
Martinez's analysis, shared on X and reviewed by Finbold, suggests that the bullish momentum could be delayed if XRP's price falls below the lower trendline of the descending triangle, currently near $1.4699. Despite relatively low demand from whale investors, the analyst remains optimistic about a potential rally. The token has been consolidating within the triangle, and Martinez believes a bigger move is approaching as the price nears the apex.
Over the past six months, XRP has seen a 12% climb, boosting its market capitalization to $95.8 billion. The token's recent gains have been largely driven by renewed institutional demand, with a 31% rally over the last three months. Martinez anticipates that the bullish sentiment will persist, supported by a potential higher high on the six-month chart. Additionally, XRP's trading volume surged by over 75% in the past 24 hours, reaching approximately $1.95 billion, according to CoinMarketCap data.
