XRP Teeters on Breakout or Breakdown as $1.50 Looms
XRP is at a critical juncture, according to crypto analyst Isabelle, who says the asset's price movement is tightening inside a narrowing triangle on the four-hour chart. The setup has the potential to increase volatility once the consolidation ends, rather than during the current tightening price action.
The upper trendline connects a series of lower highs, while the lower trendline connects higher lows, forming a triangle that is approaching its apex. Isabelle notes that XRP is 'running out of room' as the two trendlines move together.
The current support zone is identified as $1.46, $1.48, which sits on the rising trendline that has supported XRP during the formation. A move below this zone would weaken the structure Isabelle is monitoring, while a sustained hold could keep the current triangle intact.
The first major level to watch on the upside is $1.50, which is near the upper trendline. If XRP clears this level, Isabelle maps out higher levels at $1.55, $1.70, $1.88, $2.40, and $2.90.
Isabelle also warns that XRP could fake out before establishing a sustained direction, and that risk remains until the price actually breaks out of the range.
