Yusko Sees Bitcoin Shift in Favor of Uptrend to $250,000
Morgan Creek Capital Management CEO Mark Yusko has shared his optimistic view on Bitcoin's future price. He believes that the market structure for Bitcoin has shifted in favor of an uptrend, suggesting a potential bull run to $250,000 in the long term.
In a recent interview, Yusko stated that the Bitcoin market has moved from a 'distribution' phase to an 'accumulation' phase. He cited higher lows and higher highs in the price chart, as well as BTC's rise above its 200-day and 50-week moving averages, as significant trend signals.
The recent surge above $86,000 has also supported the market recovery, with inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs and institutional purchases contributing to the rise. Yusko's valuation model indicates that Bitcoin is still below its 'fair value' of around $105,000.
Yusko believes that global liquidity, particularly in large economies like China, is expanding again, despite the Fed's tighter policy. He also views the increased weight of ETFs and longer-term institutional investors as a positive development, citing the reduced leverage ratios in the BTC market.
The CEO expects a more sustainable uptrend, noting that price movements may occur more slowly compared to previous cycles. According to Yusko, Bitcoin's total market capitalization could reach tens of trillions of dollars in the long term.
