Zcash (ZEC) led $212 million in cryptocurrency liquidations over the past 24 hours, according to data from CoinGlass cited by @WuBlockchain. The price of ZEC rose around 15% during this time, reaching approximately $1,170.

The total crypto liquidations reached about $212 million, with roughly $156 million attributed to short positions. ZEC accounted for the largest share of these liquidations, at around $45.32 million.

This represents a significant imbalance between short and long liquidations across the wider market. With approximately $156 million in short liquidation losses, it suggests that bearish positions were heavily affected as prices moved upward.
