GBP/USD Finds Temporary Reprieve Amid Rising Inflation Risks
The Pound Sterling has trimmed some of its weekly losses against the US Dollar, gaining 0.18% on Friday as the US Dollar takes a breather from its recent rise.
This gain comes despite rising US Treasury yields and increased bets for Federal Reserve hawkishness for the remainder of 2026.
The GBP/USD pair currently trades at 1.3243, having bounced off daily lows of 1.3209.
The British Pound has underperformed its peers this week, with a 1.27% drop against the US Dollar.
