USD/CHF Surges to 0.8296 Amid Overbought Signals
The USD/CHF currency pair has surged over the past two days, reaching an impressive 0.8296. This upward momentum in favor of the dollar is expected to continue, but technical indicators are warning of potential restraint.
According to UOB, the pair's deeply overbought conditions may limit further gains, with resistance clustered around 0.8305 and a broader cap near 0.8330. Near-term support sits at 0.8270, and a break below 0.8255 would signal easing immediate upward pressure.
In its short-term view, UOB had initially predicted a range of 0.8155 to 0.8255 for the pair, but it has since broken above this level and extended higher. However, the bullish bias is maintained as long as USD/CHF holds above 0.8225, described as a strong support level.
