$114M Funding Valuation Boosts CADDi's Manufacturing AI Data Platform to $1.2B
CADDi, a global technology company behind the CADDi Manufacturing AI Data Platform, has secured $114 million in Series D funding at a valuation of $1.2 billion. This brings the company's total funding to $234 million.
The funds will be used for proprietary AI development, expanding the platform, growing its North America-centered global operations, and talent acquisition. CADDi operates across Japan, the U.S., Vietnam, and Thailand, serving manufacturers including some of the largest publicly traded companies in both markets.
Co-founder and CEO Yushiro Kato previously worked at McKinsey & Company, where he led the firm's procurement and IoT practice for the manufacturing industry. He founded CADDi in November 2017 with Aki Kobashi, who studied electrical engineering at Stanford and later worked as an engineer on the iPhone and AirPods at Apple.
CADDi's platform structures fragmented manufacturing data into a shared semantic layer that lets human and AI workflows draw on the same context. This is seen as a key differentiator from other companies digitizing manufacturing, which often focus on automating quoting or order-matching.
