$400 Bathroom Makeover Brings Maturity and Style to Small Space
Kelly von Weber and her boyfriend wanted to give their guest bathroom a makeover without breaking the bank. With a budget of just $400, they set out to create a more mature space that reflected Kelly's evolving style.
The pair chose to repurpose leftover paint from their master bedroom, using Sherwin-Williams' 'Bohemian Black' on the vanity for a sophisticated touch. New brass knobs and an antique-style brass faucet added to the upscale feel without exceeding their budget.
Kelly also opted for removable wallpaper in a peacock feather print, which proved tricky to install but provided a bold statement. A wool-and-feather wall hanging added a unique touch, while a new white shower curtain helped maintain focus on the striking wallpaper.
The couple decided to retain the original wall color on two of the walls, Glidden's 'Blue Grass Field', to create a cohesive look. Additional upgrades included a brass mirror and towel ring, tying everything together seamlessly.
