AI-Powered Stocks Poised to Join $4 Trillion Club
The $4 trillion club is comprised of three companies: Nvidia, Apple, and Alphabet. However, by 2028, this exclusive group could expand to include Microsoft (MSFT), Amazon (AMZN), and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM). These three stocks are currently valued at $3.6 trillion, $2.8 trillion, and $2.2 trillion, respectively.
Microsoft is close to regaining entry into the $4 trillion club, having previously crossed this barrier in the past. To reach this milestone again by the end of 2026, Microsoft's market cap would need to rise by 23%, pricing the company at $4.38 trillion. This growth could be achieved if Microsoft reaches a price-to-forward-earnings ratio of 30, which is lower than its previous valuation.
Amazon also has a catalyst for growth, currently trading at 21 times forward earnings compared to its usual neighborhood of 30 times. If Amazon's valuation rises to 30 times forward earnings, it would result in 44% growth and move the company into the $4 trillion club.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) must grow its way into a $4 trillion valuation, currently trading at 25.5 times forward earnings. To reach this milestone by the end of 2028, TSM would need to achieve compound annual growth of about 28%, which is slightly below the company's expected revenue growth rate.
