Air India is expanding its presence in Canada by launching new flights and upgrading its existing ones. The airline has introduced a brand-new Boeing 787-9 on the Delhi-Toronto route, offering passengers an improved onboard experience.

The move comes as IndiGo withdraws from wide-body operations, leaving Air India as the main Indian carrier offering non-stop long-haul services for the near term.

Air India will also introduce a seasonal non-stop service between Mumbai and Toronto, with three weekly flights starting on October 25, 2026. The airline will use its upgraded Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on these flights, featuring eight First Class suites, 40 flat-bed Business Class seats, and 280 Economy seats.
