Amazon Driver Attacked in Bridgeport Ambush

An Amazon delivery driver was injured in Bridgeport, Connecticut, after being ambushed by two masked suspects on his route.

The incident occurred on Park Terrace when the 28-year-old driver was making a delivery in his private car. Two motor scooter riders boxed him in and one of them hit his vehicle, prompting the victim to confront the suspect. However, he was slashed in the face with a weapon during the confrontation.

The driver then flagged down an MTA officer on Railroad Avenue while bleeding heavily from his injuries. He was later transported by ambulance to St. Vincent's Medical Center for treatment.

Police believe the incident was likely an intended robbery, and no arrests have been announced yet in connection with the attack.
