Amazon Employee Honoured for Supporting Colleagues with Health Challenges

Tosin Agbele, an Amazon employee at the Sutton Coldfield fulfillment centre, has been recognized for his work in supporting Black and Ethnic minority colleagues. He was nominated for the 'That's BENtastic!' Awards by his colleagues for openly sharing his experience with diabetes and guiding others on how to manage their health while working effectively.

Judges noted that Tosin's efforts have had a clear impact over the past year, making colleagues feel more comfortable speaking up about their own challenges. By being open about his condition, Tosin helped others realize they are not alone and that it is okay to talk about their own struggles.

The 'That's BENtastic!' Awards recognize Amazon employees who have made a significant contribution to their community over the past 12 months. Fatai Sulaiman, president of BEN UK Ops, praised Tosin's efforts, saying he is an incredibly valued member of the Amazon Sutton Coldfield team.
