Amazon Rolls Out Fast, Free Prime Delivery Option for Merchants
Amazon has announced two new Supply Chain Services offerings designed to help merchants selling in the U.S. grow across sales channels. The first offering allows new and existing Multichannel Fulfillment (MCF) merchants to add fast, free Prime delivery as a shipping option on their own websites at no additional cost.
This feature helps drive first-time and repeat purchases while allowing merchants to retain their existing returns and customer service experiences. According to a survey, 40% of Prime members are more likely to make a first-time purchase from a site showing the Prime logo, and 50% are more likely to buy again from sites offering Prime delivery benefits.
The second offering is the MCF Preferred Pricing Program, which allows Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) sellers to save up to 25% on fulfillment fees for orders placed across their own websites, marketplaces, and social media channels. This program combines a discount on MCF fulfillment fees with FBA credits on each unit shipped.
Amazon Supply Chain Services brings together Amazon's freight, distribution, fulfillment, and parcel shipping capabilities for businesses of all types and sizes. Merchants can activate Prime delivery now through the Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime app for Shopify, with additional integration options through Amazon's Selling Partner API, and partners like Fulfil, LingXing, and WebBee launching soon.
